and endorses Kyrsten Sinema.
As this is a very close race, an additional 2-3% of the vote is all that is needed to insure victory.

The Arizona Green Party's U.S. Senate candidate told 12 News Thursday she is getting out of the race and throwing her support to Democratic Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema.
The decision, just five days before the election, could remove a potential obstacle for Sinema in her toss-up race against Republican Congresswoman Martha McSally.
The Green Party candidate, political newcomer Angela Green, has garnered up to 6 percent of the vote in recent polls. Polling averages show McSally and Sinema separated by a point or two.
Green's message to her supporters: "I want them to vote for a better Arizona, and that would be for Kyrsten Sinema.... What I'm looking to do to help Arizona become more green again. After watching the debates and seeing everything, Sinema's stance on a lot of things are very close to mine."

(10,437 posts)democratic candidates, and asking all their supporters to vote for the democrat. We all know the blood that green party voters have on their hands for 2000 support of bush-cheney by voting Nader and the 2016 support of trump by voting Stein.
Today is a new day and now if the independent candidate for gov in Kansas would do the same, democrats can pick up that election too. But Orman is a another ego driven narcissistic candidate who rather see his state operate under a miserable Kobach admin than do the right thing and bow out and offer support to the democrat who would easily win that race.

(42,862 posts)I welcome this announcement. But, sadly, I'm thinking that the damage has already been done and "withdrawing" at this late date will be of little value. I'm thoroughly convinced that the "Green Party" candidates (and the party itself) exist only for vanity purposes and as mathematical spoilers to benefit the GOP.
