David Fahrenthold Retweeted Donald J. Trump

The judge in the emoluments clause case cited this tweet from @realDonaldTrump to reject Trump's argument that any lawsuit would impose undue burdens on the presidency.
In this tweet, Trump actually invited a lawsuit from one of his enemies! He's got time, it seems.

“The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ, Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.”

The vile MAGAcretin wrote it himself.

There is so much shit he wrote that will determine his fate. That I can't wait.

If you were editing an existing file, up to a certain point, any changes you made could be rolled back. After you had committed your changes, it could not be rolled back. (Well, it could but that was a non-trivial task.) I wrote

The moving finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your piety nor wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
Nor all your tears wash out a word of it.

When my boss was looking over what I had written, he circled that quote in red and wrote "NO POETRY!" next to it.

So I changed it to "Your old text will softly and suddenly vanish away, and never be met with again." Apparently, my boss was unfamiliar with the final line of Lewis Carroll's poem, "The Hunting Of The Snark", since he let that go.

Snips from the WaPo article cited above:

The Justice Department “is attempting to delay discovery in our case,” said Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh (D), who brought the case along with D.C. Attorney General Karl A. Racine (D). “Their ultimate argument was that this the president of the United States, he’s too busy.”

But Messitte had rejected that argument earlier, and in this opinion he noted, wryly, that — instead of avoiding legal battles — Trump seems to seek them out while in the White House.

Messitte noted Trump’s threats to sue author Michael Wolff and former adviser Stephen K. Bannon, and Trump’s taunting of former CIA director John Brennan in August. After Trump revoked Brennan’s security clearance, Trump wrote on Twitter: “I hope John Brennan, the worst CIA Director in our country’s history, brings a lawsuit.”

“It bears noting that the President himself seems to have had little reluctance to pursue personal litigation despite the supposed distractions it imposes on his office,” Messitte wrote.

There is hope......

Unless someone watched him tweet it (god i hate that stupid word) Then it can be argued its not him. And it seems that, that's all thats required of repubs...just some argument. Like his sons..."atty/client priviledge" to defend not having to answer questions before the judiciary committee(?) Had no basis at all, but, they all nodded and gave him a pass. The tweets may not be the thing, unless it's proven HE typed them. Just a suggestion to think about. Honestly though, who knows. Nov. 6th cant get here fast enough. Seems like were waiting for the doorstep of 2025 at this pace.

I guess there's a reason, but I started noticing recently that tweets in posts are being put in multiple times. The same tweet. Like this tweet in the OP is quotes three times. Is it a mistake, or ???? At first I thought it was a mistake, but it's so often that I now think it's not? Just asking!
