Texas Senate candidate Beto ORourke doesnt seem too keen on the tough-guy shtick adopted by some of his fellow Democrats.
In an interview with New York Times columnist Frank Bruni, ORourke took at shot at celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti, arguing that the attorney, who regularly battles President Donald Trump on Twitter, does not represent Democrats.

(50,937 posts)3. He also said Eric Holder doesn't represent Democrats. He's running in Texas.
I support O'Rourke, Holder and Avenatti.
As opposed to some here who spend ALL their time trying to gin up division among Democrats.

Even Beto is doing it (he didn't use the word "crazy" but same message). Democrats campaigning in red states is a completely different animal than in a blue or even a purple state.

(45,042 posts)13. Avenatti is a Democrat and Beto is correct, Avenatti 'Does Not Represent' Democrats.
He represents his clients and voices his opinions. He does both things well. As he should.
