James Comey: VOTE in 3 days: “I will not vote for another Republican until Trump is out of office.” My independent-voter wife to a Republican pollster who randomly called our house.

Comey says in his book "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership" that he isn't a member of any political party and normally didn't vote while serving in the FBI. Now that he's "retired" that may have changed.

Pretty damn sure Comey feels the same way, that's why he elected to tweet his wife's response. Plus he's already said he quit the GOP when Trump became POTUS, so ...

Should also remember he's not that old, it's possible he may want to get back into government or LE at some point, and thus may not want to come across as blatantly partisan in his tweets, as he's unlikely (I'd imagine) to be looking for a political post.
