(3,276 posts)but my cable service comes from SC - and most of the ads I see are for Republicans in SC. (Yay guns and Trump, boo abortions. Those seem to be their only issues. The one Dem whose ads I've seen actually talked about preserving Social Security and Medicare.)

(10,565 posts)Pretty even between Bredesen and Blackheart. Hers are all fear, repeal Obamacare, build the wall. Bredesen has a good balance between aspirational and exposing Blackhearts record of fealty to Opoiod manufacturers and Comcast.

Generic attack ad
Hurd/Jones
Hurd has horrible attack ads against Gina Ortiz Jones. Calling her a "Washington insider", "Pelosi's puppet", "Liberal Gina Jones" etc.
I wish I would see more Jones ads. There is "Voting Women PAC" that has an anti-Hurd ad for her, but it is kinda lame. She did have a few really great ads herself. Haven't seen them in awhile.

(8,419 posts)I have to say, watched a football game yesterday and saw the same ad so many times it was painful.

(14,565 posts)I've been relieved at that. The closing anti-Nelson ad is more laughable than anything else. It has three women sitting around a small restaurant table and saying that Nelson is too old and, "What has he ever done, anyway?"
Nelson's final spots have been positive and among his best.
DeSantis is the most invisible major nominee for governor I have ever seen. There are spots for him but he seldom appears. It's like they are trying to shield who he really is and hope the Trump knocks on Gillum will be narrowly enough.
Two tight House races in Miami. The Republican Salazar in FL-27 must be emphasizing Spanish TV because I seldom see her anymore on English channels, unlike a month ago. I think the GOP didn't put as much cash or emphasis on that race as they intended once polling was favorable in September. The race itself has been strangely quiet.
Just the opposite in FL-26, which became surprisingly competitive and now every day there are waves of ads attacking both Curbelo and Mucarsel.
I don't think we can win that one. But if so, then the high end projections on House net are in play.

(359 posts)Mostly Democratic ads.
But quite a few for House incumbent Steve Knight (R), although fewer than ads from his opponent Katie Hill (D).
Quite a lot more for House challenger Katie Porter (D) than the incumbent Mimi Walters (R).
Far more for House challenger Harley Rouda (D) than Dana Rohrbacher (R) as I've seen none for the Republican and plenty from Rouda.
In the Young Kim (R) incumbent House race against Gil Cisneros (D), I've seen many anti-Kim and pro-Cisneros ads and attack ads against Cisneros, but don't remember a single pro-Kim ad.
In state races I've have not seen a single ad for Ricardo Lara (D) for Insurance Commissioner vs many for Steve Poizner (R turned I). This may be the one statewide race Democrats don't win.
The only two ads I saw for Kevin de Leon (D) challenger to Dianne Feinstein (D) were the bio reenactments that I watched online (not broadcast).
Gavin Newsom (D) is running far more ads than John Cox (R) for Governor, but Cox is getting out bumper stickers to the last bastion of conservatives.
On ads alone, LA and CA would represent a blue wave.
I'm lighting candles!

it wouldn't work in la or even california as a whole but maybe those districts are a bit moderate.
