4.8 MILLION early ballots cast in FL as of this a.m. and Ds have gained ground on Rs massively

4.8 MILLION early ballots cast in FL as of this a.m. and Ds are gaining ground on Rs, as the total # of in-person early votes now exceeds absentee ballots cast.

With Souls to the Polls, Ds could catch Rs today

R ballots: 1.96m, 40.8%
D: 1.94, 40.2%
GOP lead: 0.6 pts (28,036)

AND THAT LEAVES NEARLY 900K WORTH OF INDY BALLOTS.......

Gov Scott 2 terms by less than 80,000. Indes didn't vote overwhelmingly for dems.
I hope they do help us carry dems this time.

Either time he would have lost decisively in a balanced year.

However, he used the tragedies like Pulse and the hurricanes to dramatically boost his approval rating. That's why he is viable even in a pro-blue cycle like 2018.

I am confident we'll win independents, but not double digits like in other states.

I think the reports of Republicans defecting are anecdotal want-to-believe nonsense and will not hold up at all in exit polls. IMO, that will be one of the main story lines coming out of this midterm, that Republicans were incredibly loyal to their candidates despite conventional wisdom the other way.

Bottom line, adjustments do not work. We can't pretend Republicans will vote for our candidates.

We have many reasons to vote Blue.
Plus there are voters that just like to be on the winning side. We have Gillmentum.
