BY JUSTIN WISE - 11/05/18 08:55 AM EST
Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum (D) holds a 7-point lead over Republican Ron DeSantis in a new poll of their governor's race.
The Quinnipiac survey, which was released on Monday, showed that 50 percent of likely voters favor Gillum, while 43 percent of likely voters support DeSantis.
Six percent of likely voters say they are still undecided. Just 1 percent of voters who picked a candidate said they may change their mind on Election Day.
The 7-point advantage for Gillum is a similar to the Quinnipiac survey of the Florida governor's race released on Oct. 23. The poll found that Gillum had a 6-point lead over DeSantis at the time.

(31,261 posts)Make sure that you vote and press everyone that you know and trust to vote. If you can, give poll rides to blue voter. Sprint through the tape, don't leave this hanging.

(11,885 posts)And will not work to hurt people's health care their like this other lying bum will. They want to destroy all health care, and destroy Social Security. I can't imagine why any senior would ever vote for another republican. They just voted to enrich the wealthiest people in this country from being bribed with campaign funding, and to pay for a little of it they're robbing us of the programs the people need the most, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Why would anyone vote for that?

(23,083 posts)Especially young voters are very excited about him. I've had to talk to several about why they should support Nelson, even though "he's old". I talk to them about support Nelson for a better environment & better healthcare because one vote could be the difference between affordable healthcare and unobtainable healthcare.
