I do feel like the SNL ad: enthusiastic and nervous.
We went through a terrible shock two years ago (a lasting horror).
I am on edge and can't wait until we know how it turns out.
I'm all mixed up.

(1,989 posts)Yes I voted in 2016 and we lost. However, this year I sent money to candidates throughout the nation. I made sure my Democratic family and friends voted this year. I helped bring people to the Beto event in my little County of Texas. I became active in my local Democratic club. Bottom line, I hope a big group of progressives upped their game this year. I truly believe the other side's numbers will remain. The question: Did we do enough to bring in a true "blue wave"? Damn I hope so.
