2. I thought of

half of that when I was clicking on the post but I also thought at the same time that it reminds me of the Cuban missile crisis back in the early 1960s. I was a kid but I was also in Key West, FL and the collective tension and fear wa palpable, even to a child. I knew what was going on, my father was directly involved, thus my presence in Key West at such a time... it kind of feels like that.

I have been wondering if I will be able to live where I am or if I'll need to leave the country. I hope I can stay put.
