(28,270 posts)I wanted to vote ASAP because I work later today.
I bet it gets heavy again from 3pm on though.

(18,866 posts)and I think that is a polling place this time. Their parking lot is jam packed. And it is a big lot.
Unless it is a meeting place for all the right wing people who are meeting there to pray for Trump.

(59,578 posts)She was second in line at a little before 5:00. By the time she left after voting, there were at least 50 people in line and every table/machine was occupied - this was about 6:15.
Midtown KCMO, so reliably Democratic. I'm out of town but already voted absentee.

(7,142 posts)I voted this morning in a small right wing town in Pa. but something was different. It was raining and there were only 2 people out front of the polling place with umbrellas and a huge poster with the names and pictures of the Democratic candidates. A 72 year old married couple. I shook their hands and told them I was going in to vote to Make America America Again. People, you can feel the wave, you can hear it, it roars.
I saw young people voting that I never saw before which made me smile. It's here folks, be a part of the blue wave, it is so invigorating.
We are voting D for democracy over fascism.
