I've been more and more nervous over the weekend into yesterday.
I loved the polls moving in our direction, loved the number of first time voters and young voters, but there was still this knot in my gut.
I feel better today. The day has arrived, I can go do something about the Orange Menace.
I can vote.

(19,060 posts)Very relieved and excited. Also thankful I don't have to see ads on TV anymore. The GOP ads this weekend and yesterday took a much more aggressive and dark turn here in MI.
For attorney general they called the Dem candidate a child molester, literally. Because she worked for a law firm that had once argued on behalf of someone trying to remove their name from the sex offender registry.

(9,169 posts)I live in Iowa. I hope we have a new governor, take back the state house and elect 4 democratic representative to Congress.
But whatever the outcome, I'm looking forward to seed corn commercials tomorrow. It should be at least 3-4 months before the 2020 caucus ads start up.
