Connecticut turnout update. As of around noon (give or take an hour either way)....

....many towns are reporting ~40% turnout and predicting up to 70% by the time the polls close at 8:00 PM.

That's more than many Presidential elections. Perhaps there is a "silver lining" from 2016?

1. Oregon (A vote by mail state) was reporting 40% yesterdsy i believe.

The onky contested Dem seat on my ballot was berween our Dem Governor Kate Brown vd K ute Buhler the repub challenger.

2. the Election was stolen in 2016.. and

after the last 2 years of seeing what the Russians dumped on America.. Of Course, People are going to get themselves to the polls as if their very lives depended on it.. And, it does.

Voted in Trumbull, CT and at 9:30 a.m., there were long lines.

5. I voted around 6:20AM in my town

the parking lot was almost full and I was voter #157 in the precinct.

6. Before I retired I always got to the middle school before 6:00 AM before I went to work.

....I was usually third on line, there's an older couple who are always first!

These lines and reports of very high turnout are encouraging.
