We had voters waiting in line longer than ususal here in NE Indiana.

Not sure why.

I do have this information.
For this election the Democratic Party had 244 positions to fill with 116 polling places. Each location has at least 1 Judge and 1 Clerk for the Democratic Party. Republicans also get to assign 1 Judge and 1 Clerk. In our county they also have an Inspector. Our party had 12 Asst Judges. They were assigned to 12 different polling places.

Clerks used IPads to sign in voters. Both Clerks would have access to the same pool of voters.

In 2014, the Democratic Party had 350 positions to fill with 115 polling places. Again each location had at least 1 Judge and 1 Clerk. At some locations there were Asst Clerks and/or Judges and Greeters. There were 39 Asst Judges and 45 Asst Clerks.

Clerks had printed out sheets to sign in voters. Person's name would determine which Clerk for check-in.

Many of those that reported their experience with voting reported spending longer waiting than in the past. Some reported an hour or more when in the past it would be 5 to 15 minutes or less.

I don't have details as to number of machines used. This would be where the line might back up if there aren't enough machines to handle the voters.
