(2,857 posts)I voted right before 5 so I'm hoping it was an after work rush, but I was surrounded by republicans. not surprising in a red state, but it is depressing. They put an abortion trigger amendment on the ballot, so all the grannies came pouring out to vote. I'm just praying for some good news

(26,044 posts)Just looking at the DKos liveblogs gave me a flashback to 2016, when I was so sure of the presidential race, and hoping it would be called early. It was only when people there started posting that "Florida is gone" and that there were disturbing numbers coming out of Pennsylvania and Michigan that I slipped into the slow-motion nightmare from which I've yet to emerge.
I know the odds are good for us, but they were even more so two years ago.
