but clearly there was no wave.

We simply are not able to get our folks out. Whatever the reason, our folks just won't do it. Blame candidates, blame the DNC/DSCC, blame apathy, blame reliance on traditionally unreliable folks, blame Trump really is more popular then the polls say and we want to believe, I don't know.

But it once again goes back to their folks come out hell or high water and it's a real struggle to get our folks out unless someone like Obama is on the ticket.

it's discouraging.

Even with Obama on the ticket, the Dems couldn't get big majorities in 2012.

It also doesn't help that the blue vote is piling up in cities, and the red vote is getting vastly over-represented. Millions more people vote Democratic than Republican and we have to live under this minority bullshit.
