We are probably the state thats swung hardest to the right over the last decade. I remember having a Gov that was Dem over my entire childhood (16 years) and a Dem statehouse. Now we have no statewide offices being held by a Dem and a super majority in both state houses for the GOP. Uggh

(27,792 posts)Like, in Pennsylvania and Michigan, more people voted Democratic, but Republicans still had majorities. Is Indiana like that too?
This trend HAS to be stopped.
As far as state house seats go i dont know, but Senate and Gov races have been won easily the past 2 cycles by the GOP and it hasnt even been close.

There were 5 here is South Carolina with no Democratic candidates

(1,822 posts)There was only 2 Dems in the county I live in and the county my parents live in. How does that even happen. The Dems have completely written off huge parts of the country and it will start to screw us for a generation or more because there is no competing narrative.
