Blue wave crushes in NV

No longer can you refer to NV as a purple state. We are now a solid blue state as the last few elections have proven. Dems dominated last night in a huge rejection of Trump. When I moved here in early 2000 it was a solid red state hence my moniker. Now instead of being lost in red I’m bathing in blue. Nevada is proof of what happens when you make it easier to vote. Nevada has early voting and a law once your in line you get to vote even once the polls close. Now we have automatic voter registration. Great job Nevada I’ve never been so proud. Now that we have congress I want to see comprehensive voter rights reform and a national mail in ballot law.

So the mayor could select someone from the same party. Did I mention we sent another woman to the senate. How about that for a headline.

I thought that was kind of standard these days.

(Seriously: under Nevada law it was too late to take his name off the ballot, so there were notifications at every polling location that he was, indeed, dead, and that a vote for him would be considered a vote fo4 a TBD Republican)

Especially the ones who keep their voter registrations at their winter homes in AZ. They get there in time for the Quartzsite "Big Event", watching Fox Noise on their RV satellite dish.
Just like my parents used to do.
I'll likely be some of the Ex-California blue retiree's pulling through for summer refuge destinations someday. Depends on 2020's outcome.
