The Rainbow wave materialized and women broke boundaries yesterday

Here are key victories that should not be diminished by painful losses.

Nationally
1-Democrats have taken the US House and will control the budget, protect Obamacare and can investigate corruption.
2-Massachusetts Voter passed the Pro-Trans ballot measure
3- US SenatorTammy Baldwin won re-election and our Bisexual Kate Brown was re-elected Governor of Oregon.
4- Coloradan Jared Polis becomes first out gay Governor
5- Dem beats Vote Suppression architect Kris Kobach for Kansas Governor
6- A night of firsts:
-1st openly gay man as Governor
-1st Native Amer women to Congress
-Youngest woman ever elected to Congress
-Massachusetts’ first black woman to serve in US House.
-4 women to US House in PA (up from zero)
-Two youngest women ever elected to Congress.
- First two Muslim women ever elected to Congress.
-First two Native American women elected to Congress.

7- Democrat wins Michigan Governor race
8- Florida flipped two US House seats - Shalala and Mucarsel-Powell.
9- Kim Davis, who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, lost her County Clerk seat
10-Missouri voters passed Amendment 1 to end gerrymandering & diminish lobbyist influence.
They also raises the min wage from $7.85 to $12. Over 600K low-wage workers will get pay increases.
11- Maryland voters approved Same Day voter registration joining 16 states and DC in making registration available on Election Day.
12- Sara Burlingame became the first out member of the Wyoming House.
13- Over 100 women elected to Congress for the first time in US History.
