Santorum is the stealth candidate for the GOP establishment

I'm betting that once Bachmann and Perry drop out of the race and endorse Santorum, Santorum drops out and endorses Romney.

Santorum has already been part of the establishment, being a 2-term US Senator

Romney is absolute anathema to the folks who would vote for Santorum, Bachmann, and Perry. Their fundie base would rather see four more years of Obama than give any further talking points to the Mormon missionaries trying to poach their flocks.

I expect to see money and endorsements flowing towards Santorum all week long.
