Most of the appointees have been delayed via procedures & rules that the Democrats have utilized but that the media won't make a note of, so DU thinks that Democrats are doing nothing. I.e., there has been no "sailing through". There may have been some agreements as was done when Obama was President trying to get people confirmed in exchange for something else, but there's no free ride going on.

Democrats may need to up their use of the "hold" and other things for the most egregious nominees but I think that the toxicity from the WH may make it harder for them to find people even willing to go through the process.

8. Where do you live?

A lot of people who are so called "doom and gloom" aren't downplaying the importance of taking the House in any way. Allow folks in places like TN and FL and TX and GA who have worked for weeks and months on these elections to have some time to express their frustration and their disappointment. I don't think that's "doom and gloom"

14. Still Don't Trust Some Of The Results

Particularly with Gillum. Every poll leading up showed with a lead and it was rising. Why we don’t go to a foolproof system, or at least push harder for one in beyond me.

Securing the House is a big plus.
