separate investigation going on (NYC)....these people are in trouble regardless. Besides Mueller and company is much smarter than the toxic tRUMP team so I'm not worried.

But this is confusing. I suppose if it comes up in those other cases,....I don't know what happens, then. The Trump investigation is not in the jurisdiction of those other courts, I think. His job is to refer it to the AG's office...I think.

doing away with much of Mueller's investigation. And disallowing certain evidence.

There are things Whittaker can do to effectively end the investigation. He wouldn't outright fire Mueller and end it. He's clamp it down so tight that there isn't much left of it.

This was one of the Repub beefs against Rosenstein: that he directed Mueller to investigate two things...and any other possible crimes he ran across during his investigation. This broadened the investigation to include, say, Trump evading taxes or laundering money, those crimes referred to SDNY for Cohen & Manafort, etc.

What's more Dems are now in charge of the a house and Muller will be on National TV at hearings.

Besides, didn't Nixon try this. Of course, Congress was a different mix.

Nixon's own party was ready to go with indictments and impeachment. Nixon didn't have allies, any more.

And, probably everything he turned over to Underwood and others. Mueller is likely many, many steps ahead of these assholes, too. And, he's much, much smarter. As Malcolm Nance said on numerous occasions, they will not get away with any of what they've done. And, he has yet to be wrong.

We need hope.

I'll have to read up on Malcolm Nance. I know the name, but.....

Okay...I looked him up. I don't see him predicting Trump & Repubs will not get away with anything. To the contrary, he says repeatedly that we are on the cusp of losing our democracy.
