Nobody is above the law, not even @realDonaldTrump.
Forcing the nations top law enforcement official to resign doesnt give him a free passit only raises suspicions.
I want NYers to know Ill hold those in power accountable & make sure the Special Counsels work continues.

(31,261 posts)The acting AG is all over his ass, Tish will take up where she leave off.
Why didn't you direct such bile to Eric Sniderman. He was the one that diddered, and we came to know that was because Trump had compromising stuff on him. Trump is a clueless criminal, and like all clueless criminals, he is leaving a trail of clues.

(9,670 posts)And all the fanfare that preceded it? How it was going to change the world and prove that this investigation was nothing more than a witch hunt?
Well, it didn't.
The only way to prove that the Mueller investigation is a witch hunt, as has been suggested dozens of times, is to allow it to become part of the public domain. If it's on par with the Nunes memo, it deserves to be laughed off the stage, and Dems would likely feel pretty stupid.
Only that isn't going to happen. It's very real, it's backed by solid proof, and Trump and all his cohorts will go down hard upon its publication.
Doesn't the Mueller investigation deserve the same public scrutiny that the Nunes memo attracted?

(492 posts)"As a former federal prosecutor and colleague of Mueller told MSNBC Wednesday, contingency planning runs in Muellers veins.
He has contingency plans for everything, Glenn Kirschner said of Mueller. "I can assure you Mueller and his team have been preparing for a moment like this," he added, saying that Trumps move would only accelerate their timeline."

(17,066 posts)... Jeff Sessions was no prize. If this firing serves to disgrace him in some eyes, then I'm all for it. What other consequences may follow, well, we'll see.

(1,957 posts)Financial crimes are not hard to prove/obtain indictments for. Cohen and the Trump CFO have spilled their guts. How long has "this" all been being investigated? Well over a year. I would almost guarantee you NY State already has sealed indictments waiting for several people for State level financial crimes.

(27,648 posts)If Donald Jr., Roger Stone and Steve Bannon are indicted by a New York State Grand Jury, there's nothing Shitler can do about it!
His presidential pardon power is only good for federal crimes.
