Nevada elected a dead Republican pimp.

This is not a joke.

Dennis Hof was a pimp, died, stayed on the ballot, voters were notified of his death and 70% of them voted for him anyway.

Once again,

THEY VOTED FOR A PIMP'S CORPSE.

According to the Nevada secretary of state, a Hof victory ensures that the state Assembly seat will remain in Republican hands, as the three county commissioners will convene and select a replacement from the GOP. Herzik said that probably helped solidify the seat for Republicans and gave comfort to those who may have felt uneasy about electing a brothel owner.

I don't think it's a great rule, but since it was too late to take off his name, people basically voted party. I likely would have done the same, to be truthful, preserved a seat for my party.

until he dropped dead. Refused to fund his campaign and definitely didn’t offer any campaign help.

Plot twist: GOP dude who lost to Hof in primary is putting his name in as a possible appointee. Probably made NV GOPs day when he was found dead in his cathouse
