It became crystal clear today: tRump's Impeachment is the only real solution

He’s insane. Either that, or he is the most-despicable person on Earth, and he is destroying the USA.

Reason is useless. The day-in, day-out churnings of government and the law do not apply. He needs to be forcefully removed from office through the impeachment process.

The longer Congress waits to act, the deeper we slide into the abyss.

I don’t think they’d vote to convict even in the face of overwhelming evidence of flat out treason, should it surface.

As long as the cult is strong with Тяцмр, and there’s no indication they will leave him for any reason, the senate won’t go against him.

The real hurdle is that McConnell, Ryan and all of the R leadership were involved in the conspiracy with the Russians. I’m convinced that is why they refuse to challenge tRump. Their own skins are at risk.

If their base stays strong, they’ll do nothing. They’ll still get votes, the only thing they care about.

The trump "base" is NOT half of this country. The true diehards are the same ones that voted for trump, around 65 million.

Remember that public outrage forced Republicans to get Nixon to resign-- after the largest re-election victory in history. And Trump is no Nixon.

And not getting Clinton thrown out of office raised his approval ratings-- everyone loves a survivor, and it was with great relief to many of us, even many non-supporters, that we were spared his conviction. Imagine Trump being impeached but not convicted. Emoluments alone should be more than enough, but you just never know.

I agree absolutely that Trump is a disease. A massive tumor in the body politic that must be excised. But, like many tumors, it must be done carefully and expertly lest it survive and grow. If he is impeached, the nation could hemorrhage if it doesn't go just right.

all the ignoramuses out there, to a long list of just why this president is killing our country. Conviction or not, impeachment is what a fucking lunatic in the White House deserves to have next to his name.

In my book anyone who doesn't think Trump should be impeached is probably sitting in front of Fox News too much.

If the Orange Douche's behavior gets much worse, how will the Republicans be able to avoid it? They would not be re-elected if their constituents have had it with Dump.

His 5th Avenue shooting comment was one of the few true things he’s said. The Republicans will not go along with impeachment no matter what as long as the base stays with him. If it will cost them their seats to do the right thing, they won’t.

That’s just the way it is. The days of integrity are long gone.

without cranking up the impeachment machinery, which is slow and cumbersome, and will lead to defeat as long the the Republicans hold the Senate.

Correct almost impossible to have him to have him removed from office (that can occur in 2020 election)

But if it can gin up to Democratic base it would be a good thing. Unlike the Clinton impeachment I don't see a downside. Anyone who would have a problem with impeachment is probably never going to vote Democrat

Is only going to destroy their future , and will see another flood of positions they hold disappear. Their refusing to act will have lasting consequences for them all. Trump is self destructing before our eyes, and that would be ok , but he's destroying our country in the process too, and that isn't acceptable anymore. They will all be voted out of office for doing nothing to stop this.

If they continue to abet the Wannabe Fuhrer, they'll be going down in 2020. There are many more GOP Senate seats up for grabs in that election and we'll come for them.
