ok, so i'm young, new and probably dumb, but isn't mueller a "well respected republican"? i just can't put my hopes in him. feels like i'll be disappointed.

A smarter, more ethical, more determined man does not exist in our government.

(8,445 posts)I believe that he's got the integrity to do his job, no matter what his political leanings might be. I also think that he's NOT a trumpian, AKA as magat. If he was on the side of -45, this investigation would have been over a long time ago.

(54,770 posts)IMO, if Mueller and Rosenstein were bent on taking trump down, a report would have been issued a month before the election (assuming they have anything that will hold up to GOPer disinterest).
