Haven't heard her speak of Trump. But somehow I don't regret clicking from Peggy Noonan. She always twists a dig at Democrats so I expect that's what she was doing here

her column where she was swooning over how GWB oozes machismo because he invaded Iraq. She was practically orgasmic about the thought of war. It made me sick.

“touch the face of god” line for Raygun, after he pushed for the Challenger to be launched and the crew ended up dead?

Just looked and the median age of MSNBC viewers is 65, so partial answer there.

As far as I'm concerned, Noonan has always been low-key aversion therapy. For at least a decade she was the official talking-head keeper of the Reagan flame (yes, we've both been around that long). When the market for that died off (pretty literally), she became a channeler of her tasteful, privileged urbanite version of right wing religion. By then I was long avoiding her, but that has no doubt been followed by whatever restyled schticks she's been able to find a market for.

Btw, while I was looking, Maddow still draws double the total viewers that CNN does, including double the prize 25-54 age group.

A buffet of republicans who are (supposed to be) - somehow - better than other republicans not because they stopped being conservatives who have supported and still support destructive policies but because they suddenly seem reasonable when standing side by side with a Trumpian.

Kind of like a standing Ted Bundy next to Jeffrey Dahmer. Sure, you know they were both horrible killers but there's just something extra crazy about eating people.
