Expect Swalwell to ramp up his pit bull presence in the House (not that that's a bad thing)

6. I like Swalwell also, but might like him to do a stint as VP first to "season" him a bit.

However, I also like Kamala Harris or Adam Schiff for the top spot in 2020, and that wouldn't give Swalwell a great chance of being VP because of the Electoral College voting rules. Swalwell is definitely on my radar, though, and if he were to be the nominee, I'd be pleased to support him.

California has so much political talent these days, all of whom are pretty inspiring and plausible. I hope they all get their chance, matched up with someone geographically desirable in the next decade or two.

... the old truisms no longer apply.

We currently have a so-called "pResident" who made the leap from being a thief, a tax dodger, a mobbed-up "businessman" with shady business practices, a pussy-grabber accused by over a dozen women of sexual assault, who lies multiple times daily, and is currently under investigation for obstruction of justice and conspiring with our enemies.

The leap from the House to the WH no longer requires a stretch of the imagination.

The game has changed forever. Trump broke all the rules and we don't have to play by them either.

Parleying this run into a Veepstakes spot, which will raise his profile, and a high profile administration job is great for the party as a whole. You can never have too many up-and-comers on your bench.

1:00 p.m. show today. He seems to have received more input from his family and has stopped hedging.

I've looked online for a clip, but none shows up yet.

candidate list. The Dems embrace of diversity gives us so many more opportunities to put together some great teams for decades in the future. Unlike the stodgy stuffed suit repugs, we have the "roll up your sleeves and get to work" young(ish) men and women who'll bring a wonderful vibrancy to the campaigns. I'm very enthusiastic about Democratic future.

much like the Republicans had in 2016. Don't know if that's good or bad yet. They won though, so...there's that.
