How much do you reckon Trump's PAYOFF to Whitaker amount$ to?

It’s gotta be “YUGE”. Enough for the wife and kids to live in a ritzy gated community, private school and college tuitions, cars, vacations, and a comfy bank account for them while he does his inevitable prison time. Then a YUGE nest egg hidden away for him when he gets out, and there has to be a guaranteed high dollar job waiting for him too.
I don’t even know how much it would have to be for Whitaker to walk the plank...$20 million?

It's more likely that Whittaker is just another far-right douche who craves the power that being AG will provide, and especially the approval of Trump. Like others before him, he thinks he can get away with ignoring the law and that Trump will protect him (and maybe pardon him if that becomes necessary). But I'm betting he will suffer the same fate as so many other Trump appointees and employees: embarrassment, disgrace, indictments, firing, destroyed career, being thrown under Trump's bus. Everything Trump touches dies. Up to now Whittaker has been an obscure flunky in the DoJ whose only claim to fame is an extreme and legally unsupportable view of the special counsel and the Russia investigation in general. Trump appointed him only because of that opinion - but Whittaker probably thinks he hit the career jackpot. Like the others, he didn't have to be offered money because he was offered power. He should enjoy it while it lasts because it won't last very long.

Besides, didn’t you read that he wants to destroy the Federal judiciary? They wield way too much power per his manifesto.
