Moving ME-2 from Tossup to Lean D. Exit poll suggests that Golden (D) is likely to pick up a clear majority of 3rd-party votes when they're reallocated as a result of Maine's new instant runoff voting law, probably putting him ahead of Poliquin (R).
(This proportional rep voting is going to take out Collins in 2020)
CA-45, where Mimi Walters is losing ground very quickly as more ballots come in, goes from Tossup to Lean D.

It was confusing. All my state and local choices were ranked, but not my rep or Senator.
No idea why.

(1,580 posts)RCV can be used for all primaries and federal level general election races but not the three state level races in the general elections.
The Sup. Crt. in Maine advised that Ranked Choice Voting for those three state level general elections would violate that provision of the constitution, but the constitutuion does not govern the primaries nor the federal races. Dems tried to change the constitution but R's wouldn't go along.
