Dont know specifically but You might want to look up drinking liberally. I think they meet somewhere in Sherman Oaks once a month.

You may want to look up best bars in your city and then read enough reviews to get a feel for which to try.
Sorry to not add more. I am not an alcohol drinker and never go into bars unless they have a good food menu.

Why the English speaking requirement? You can still look up best bars for Van Nuys and read reviews from patrons.
