Republican activists harass the only black people they see at Florida 'election theft' demonstration
A group of white women at an “election theft demonstration” targeting Florida’s controversial vote count were recorded harassing black people in the crowd in two videos filmed multiple hours apart.
The video recorded and posted by Twitter user @ARAEveryDay at the Broward County Supervisor of Elections office in Lauderhill, Florida describes the women as “haranguing” them as they held an Andrew Gillum shirt at the rally.
“It’s all about ‘let’s vote black,'” said one of the women who was wearing a badge or sticker emblazoned with the name of gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis. She was filmed holding a sign calling Broward SOE Brenda Snipes, the target of a voter fraud lawsuit brought by governor and Senate candidate Rick Scott, “corrupt.”
“Identity politics here,” a woman clad in a Tea Party snake t-shirt responded.
