Two things I noticed about our party this year.

1. Establishment organizations were not afraid to work with grassroots groups like Indivisible and Black Votes Matter.
2. It's been three days since election day and we are still fighting for every vote in every seat.

I hope we keep this up.

Perez used to work with unions, so he knows about grassroots.

Yeah, I remember when people here were upset because Keith Ellison wasn't chosen to be DNC chair - and a compromise was reached where both he and Perez became co-chairs.

Well now the Democrats won't be losing a House Rep/DNC co-chair, they'll be gaining an Attorney-General (state of Minnesota). Congratulations, Keith.

He was masterful in VA. We actually won in AL. And now the blue wave has hit.

Remind me why so many on DU hated him?

Never mind. I know.

and that's all politics is about to them.

if it doesn't happen on there then it didn't happen. and whatever happens on there is the only thing that is happening.

so when he goes on some cable news show people don't like how he talks and thinks he wasn't tough and that's all there is to being dnc chair.

And Cliinton, etc. To guide him, but he deserves a great deal of credit, much better than the alternative candidate.
