My heart aches for Florida voters who have been disenfranchised. They were

encouraged to vote and send in absentee ballots if they needed to, and because of a situation that was not their fault, their vote will not count. More than any other state, Florida needs to rid itself of the openly corrupt individuals in government who allow this to happen over and over again. Start by voting out those who are sent to Tallahassee as representatives. Make a list now in your local government. Saturate the state with those individuals who will truly represent the people. It will take a little while but it can be done. Wisconsin did it. What happened with the ballots, the governor's race and the senate race is almost worse than the Civil Rights fight for equality. The attacks on the Jewish community, minority voting rights, immigrants (even those who have fought for this country), victims of tragedies, and all that is decent and fair have destroyed America faster than the years it took for it to become a respectable nation. The acceleration of hate speech and attacks under the leadership of Donald Trump is also a very disturbing reality. I keep telling myself that we will recover and to stay WOKE. Sometimes, when I wake in the morning, I have to slap myself into believing it. This Florida thing this morning is tugging at my hope. I will regenerate, though and know that at some point Drumpf's reign will end.
