Gotta keep those ratings up

We did fine for a looong time without 24 hr “news”

Jon Stewart was SO right years ago when he blasted Fucker and (Begala?) re: punditry

For example, take a mass shooting.

(Sad I can use that phrase and it’s not shocking event)

Now, within minutes, pundits and “journalists” regurgitate what any witness or twitter feed says happened, regardless of its veracity

Before 24hr news, by the time the story hit its second day most everything WAS known and we’d get an accurate report

Now the accurate report is lost in the noise of everyone bickering back and forth about was shooter white or Muslim or Dem or rep when that shit doesn’t really matter at all!
