I don't know if it has sunk in yet DUers

but the RW control over the agenda was obliterated on Tuesday. The NRA was deballed. No one is afraid of these fools anymore.
Obamacare won.

Go Dems! I am so freaking happy and there are more wins to come.
Meanwhile the orange Poopsicle is melting down.

What I really worry about is a bunch of them changing parties so they can hand a (D) shingle after their name.

Personally, I'd like to see a (R) registry that included all the repuglicons, their spouses, their financial supporters, their staff/etc. I'd like that registry to follow them through all their attempts to paint themselves as "compassionate" or whatever.

The US Senate will be a tough road to hoe in the future until we make DC a state, Puerto Rico a state, Guam a state and the Virgin Islands a state. There are a lot of shitty white rural voters in small population states who seem like they will never vote for a Democrat. But alas we have the House of Representatives. Hope is not all lost.

Where we pretty much knew the big result the night of the election, this has been revealed like cold molasses pouring out of the jar. The results are just starting to get tallied and some will take even longer due to recounts. The kick in the teeth in 2016 was hard and swift. I really don’t even like to recall how I felt that night because it was so disappointing. This time, I think I held my breath a lot and early nay-sayers kind of led us into thinking it might be a bust. After a 2016 you kind of keep your guard up lest you get another swift kick.

So it looks like our early impressions were inaccurate but understandable. Now we are seeing real hope to put a chain around trump’s signing hand and a gag in his mouth. Well, maybe that is hoping for too much. However, holding that jackass to account for his crimes and misdeeds is like a gift that keeps on giving! This whole election for 2018 might even turn out better than we ever dreamed it would. I am holding out for a grand prize given the hell we’ve been through with tRump. Just seeing him arrested and treated like the criminal he is will be reward enough for me!

Hey sure have been gutted. Dems and others need to point out how many of their A rated candidates were sent packing.

With McCain gone the pukes might be able to kill it during the lame duck session. I would be surprised if they didn't try this. We have to stay vigilant.

However, Tuesday was a very good start! Now, we need to build on that success and continue moving forward. Make no mistake, the billionaires who run the show will not give up their power and access to the lion's share of American wealth without a serious and dirty fight back. We must stay united and focused on our Democratic agenda and we can prevail.

When we consider the sum-total of Trump's behaviors since Wednesday -- including his being an ass-clown in Europe -- it is very evident the guy is freaking. It is going to get worse for him and his band of fools.

Dems' wins trickling in almost on a daily basis since. I don't go to bed worried as i did the past 2 years, and wake up much more relieved and happier knowing Dems now can put checks on this lawless (illegitimate) POTUS.
Onward to Phase II - take back the Senate and install a Democratic president in 2020!

As well as the supreme court, and the executive branch, and over half of the governors mansions, and over half of the state legislatures... Im gonna remain quite concerned.

And thats before getting into their countless individual terror cells, spread around the country with basically no effort from law enforcement to keep them in check. Im definitely afraid of how many US residents they intend to kill.

We are in the sucky position where we have to win almost every battle going forward, or we lose the war. We bought ourselves time, and now we have to figure out how to use it to make even bigger strides. They didn't ram Kavanaugh through just for the fun of it.. The clear intent was to change the system and end our rights to vote. The North Dakota ruling he started with wasn't a happy accident for the right, it was the reason he is there. All the other damage he will do to this nation and its citizens is pure bonus for them.

I mean, I acknowledged the technical possibility it might not happen, but I had 0 real concerns about it, believing based on my own spreadsheets that the math for a house takeover was as close to a done deal as can happen in a world with the possibility of statistical anomalies.
