in case anyone thought he was just making a passing aside-Macron Tweets it in French & English

in case anyone thought he was just making a passing aside in his speech, Macron puts it on Twitter (in both French and English):

@EmmanuelMacron

Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism. By putting our own interests first, with no regard for others, we erase the very thing that a nation holds dearest, and the thing that keeps it alive: its moral values.

Our American buffoon never looks more foolish than when he is on the national stage.

in contrast to the others. It's no wonder they demonstrate their disdain for him.

for the next two years. I bet he is angry or maybe he just doesn't care since he gets away
with so much here.

He might as well just stay in his place in Florida, not like he does anything worth while at
the White House.

If he stayed there we wouldn't have to pay for the travel.
