"The Female Doctor changes the game!" I disagree.......

I saw that bit of text advertised on BBC America....and I was thrown aback.....

Dr who is an amazing television program. Sorry, that should have added an explanation point...or caps or something. AMAZING...something like that.

But The Doctor is a concept of hope and triumph of the (human?) spirit.....

And wile we are having a celebration of women not only achieving greatness (history spoiler, they started “greatness”) but also being recognized for it, unfortunately this time I think it’s a bit off. Or maybe not......

I’ve been a Doctor fan for decades.
And a s a fan, I can truly say the game hasn’t changed a bit. Which is awesome. The Doctor was never masculine nor feminine, and in an age of gender ambiguity ( agin, older than historians) I’m glad to see the “game” running as beautifully as always.

Jodie Whittaker IS the Doctor. Not Ms. Doctor. not Mr. Doctor........

THE Doctor.

And isn’t that what we’ve been aiming for?......
