CBS News reports that indictments could be handed up in the sprawling case, which has already resulted in guilty pleas by top officials who worked to elect President Donald Trump.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation told the network’s Paul Reid that they expect the indictments this week, possibly right away.

“I’ve spoken with many sources with knowledge of the Special Counsel investigation, and we do expect new indictments to be coming as soon as today,” Reid said.

Donald Trump Jr.’s friends have said they believe the president’s son will be indicted in the case, and prominent “birther” Jerome Corsi and longtime Republican “dirty trickster” Roger Stone have each said they expected to be indicted.

Very true. Well said!! Mueller's circle has been VERY tight-lipped. Excellent at controlling the message and preventing leaks. I'll believe this latest news WHEN I actually see it.

The only things that have "leaked" are when sharp-eyed observers and journalists see the public-facing documents and procedures... and possibly an overheard phone conversation from courthouse clerks.

I'm looking forward to it as well, but I'm not going to be terribly disappointed when/if it doesn't happen either.

What I'm most cautious about is who. The investigation has a history of indicting both obscure names some source mentioned in the 8th paragraph of an article 10 months ago and people and organizations we haven't heard of at all.

Also hoping but not prematurely excited.

Will get there indictments very soon now, and why trump is so desperate acting now, he knows its all coming after him , and he can't stop it no matter what he tries to do. Trump knows its over for him and is gang. The GOP in Congress must be scared to death they'll all be indicted soon too. Many members of the GOP in Congress that took anything funneled thru others to them or their campaigns from putin and his buddies should be scared their careers are over, and could face prison . Corrupt Nunes and a few others may already be toast soon.
