Trump tweets gibberish about Germany invading France again.

Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the U.S., China and Russia. But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two - How did that work out for France? They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!

- Actually, Germany and France have been best buddies since the 1960s or so.
- There is even a special military unit, the Franco-German-Brigade, where german and french soldiers serve side by side.
- And german Chancellor Schroeder once was incapabable of attending a major EU-summit. He gave french President Chirac the authority to also vote with Germany's vote.

THAT'S how close Germany and France actually are.

and command in the Continental Army helped the 13 colonies win our Revolution and become the U.S.A. Not that Trump gives a flying rat's ass, or even knows who the Marquis de Lafayette was.
