Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the U.S., China and Russia. But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two - How did that work out for France? They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!
- Actually, Germany and France have been best buddies since the 1960s or so.
- There is even a special military unit, the Franco-German-Brigade, where german and french soldiers serve side by side.
- And german Chancellor Schroeder once was incapabable of attending a major EU-summit. He gave french President Chirac the authority to also vote with Germany's vote.
THAT'S how close Germany and France actually are.

is the very thing that is anathema to Trump's hyper individualist, fascist ideology.

the fact that the country he so tries to denigrate actually financed our own Revolutionary war.
