This WAPO article is likely what has Trump so stirred up this morning (beyond poss indictments)

worth reading in entirety...

Foreign countries are increasingly using Trump as a foil — or a punchline

President Trump promised during the 2016 campaign that the United States would be respected again. The most visible example of how that is not entirely coming to pass came two months ago at the United Nations, when foreign leaders audibly laughed at Trump’s bogus claim to unprecedented achievements.

But it’s hardly the only example. Increasingly, when Trump graces the world stage, he is being trolled, not-so-subtly rebuked, or used as a foil in ways that suggest foreign countries see Trump less as someone worthy of fear and respect, and more as a tool they can use for their own purposes.

This sort of thing is often coming from allies and official sources

LOVE your screen name!

And you're right - trump seems to delight in using public humiliation to "punish" people he perceives as enemies, or those he thinks have been disloyal to him personally, or insufficiently supplicant.

I see Merkel too is calling for a true European army to protect themselves from Russia, China, and the US... We are no longer considered trustworthy by what were once our allies. We are now seen as pawns of Putin. Thanks tRump...

They've made the logical decision that it's better to explore other options than to remain in any way dependent on the whims of trump. I would, too, if I were another world leader. "Enough with you, dude. Since you seem increasingly reckless, capricious, untrustworthy, and impossible to work with (unless we're worshipping you and fawning over you like serfs to their overlord), time for Plan B. You're not the only fish in the sea."

now he will concentration on destroying the European Union. History will show that the republican traitors were instrumental in letting Russia take over our world leader status.
