Too bad he flamed out as he seems to have done. He did a great deal of good for our side.

That said, while I am sad it ended as it did, I'm glad he's over for now. I would be very unhappy if he started a serious run for president. He seems far better at street theater than statesmanship. Of course, compared to what we have now, one of my dogs would be a better statesman.

The bar to run should be Obama, not Trump.

I do not wish any ill to Avenatti. I hope he comes through this in good stead. But I am glad his presidential aspirations appear to be over.
