6. I'm indifferent about Pelosi. I'm neither a huge fan. Nor do I have anything against her. But anyone

who is to her right and wants to lead this party, better take a time machine the fuck back to 1990. Because those days are done. There are 0 ideas from that other side. Nor do we need to find compromise with sociopaths until they can get their shit together. And talking about you too Yurtle!

“Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan (Ohio) is going against party leaders and calling for a business friendly agenda ahead of the 2018-midterm elections.

Ryan, a fast-rising Democrat from industrial Ohio, is challenging Democrats to take a different approach to big business and work with corporate America to create jobs.

"We can’t just be the party of redistribution of wealth; we need to be the party of the creation of wealth in communities all over the country, not to just Silicon Valley, not just Wall Street, but all over."

Five reasons why Rep. Tim Ryan probably won't be our next president

“Ryan's latest congressional campaign finance report shows he spent more than $7,600 to buy an Iowa list from D'Alessandro's unsuccessful congressional campaign, and that he made numerous political trips in recent months to states including New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and Texas. Ryan has been making the rounds of early presidential primary states ever since his unsuccessful 2016 challenge to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi earned him national buzz as a potential Democratic party leader.

Although Ryan thinks he might be able to reverse his party's fortunes because of his appeal to the sort of blue-collar voters who backed Trump, there are reasons to be skeptical of Ryan's White House chances. Ohio has had plenty of presidents throughout its history, but nobody from the state has been elected president since 1920 – when Republican Sen. Warren Harding of Marion won. Harding died in office after having one of the nation's most scandal-plagued administrations.”

“MORNING JOE: Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) discusses how Democrats are recalibrating after the election, why Democrats need to meet with Trump, his advice to Nancy Pelosi and his political future. Ryan said Democrats have talked about blue-collared workers more in the last few weeks than in the past few years.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: What do you think about Democrats heading into Trump Tower to meet with the president-elect? Do you have an issue with that? Would you have an issue with that?

REP. TIM RYAN (D-OH): No, I think you've got to have these conversations. Look, he won. I mean, we can't sit here and act like we're just going to obstruct from the very beginning. He won. We have an obligation. And for my personal example, a lot of people voted for me and voted for Donald Trump; voted for Joe Manchin, voted for Donald Trump. Probably a lot more for Joe Manchin than Donald Trump than for me and Donald Trump. But having said that, we have an obligation to sit down and figure out what are the sweet spots that we can find that are going to help working-class people. We have an obligation to go and try to find out what that is. It doesn't mean that we have to make a deal right there, but let's start those conversations.”

What's he talking about?

I do think we should be a party that promotes jobs and wealth creation.

I'm with Nancy.
