I think the final number will be plus 38 or 39 (so plus 40 if you count the special election before) Celerity Nov 2018 #2

When I checked the NYTimes yesterday (German time), (D)s had 229 seats and the lead in another 3 races, so I expected them to end up with 232 seats.

This morning I checked the NYTimes again, and now (D)s have 231 seats and the lead in another 3 races, so now I expect them to end up with 234 seats. Probably CA39 was one of the two new seats where they are leading now, and the other flipped seat was Maine-2, where the NYTimes listed the Republican as having the lead even though Third Party votes favored the Democratic candidate in their instant runoff vote.

If they end up with 234 seats, that's one more seat than even the most optimistic NYTimes estimate from election day.

I spent time in Brooklyn, NY, with an Italian family, of a buddy in my Navy Squadron, when we were on leave. Also, I spent time in Redhook, NY, with a Hispanic friend. White boys shouldn't go into Spanish Harlem alone! I met a personal friend of Hillary Clinton, online. She paid for us to stay in a four-star hotel, in Time Square, while she was doing non-profit work, by training other lawyers to defend abused women for free.
