My friend from the radical nut case right has a stopped clock day: he's spot on twice!
Make no mistake, he's a dedicated right wing icon who wishes us all ill despite his maddeningly friendly manner in person.
Here are his two quotes that found me saying, well whaddya know, it's for all the wrong reasons, but he's correct here!
1.) "Will no one rid us of this turbulent Flake?"
Gee, Richard, we've been saying that about Jeff Flake for a long time--namely because he talks like we wish Republicans would, but votes the way Trump likes them to. Hell, he votes the way YOU want him to. But take heart--someone IS going to rid us of tha flaky Senator Flake--namely incoming Democratic Senator Sinema!
2.) "Conservatives must come to grips with the reality that for the new radical progressive Democratic Party politics is warfare, and the only rule in war is to win. Complying with all the laws and rules pre-election is a recipe for one-Party Democrat rule........."
Well, he did go on to add some predictable qualifiers, and I'm sure the admission that "Complying with all the laws and rules pre-election is a recipe for one-Party Democrat rule" was not an admission that was completely thought out before being allowed onto his website. Richard is now in his mid-80s, but senility has nothing to do with it. Richard Viguerie is still as sharp as a freshly honed guillotine's blade, and as quick to strike at us as a wounded rattlesnake.
Nonetheless, I think he slipped twice this time. He hates Flake for the opposite reason we do. Richard hates Flake for his words, not his votes. We hate Flake for his votes, not his words. But he can't stand Flake any more than we can. And he actually admitted that if the laws and rules were followed, we'd control Congress. Right again!! Better get yourself checked out, Richard Viguerie. Making sense twice in one day? Richard what's got into ya?
