To me this looks like they went from "Yes-Trump" in 2016 to "No-Trump" in 2018. It would be hard to believe anything else. People who are settled as most homeowners and registered voters are, don't move that fast. The blue districts could easily go the other way as soon as Trump is out of the White House.

What happened there should not really be a surprise to anyone. OC has been trending blue for a while now. Issa won by like a couple hundred votes two years ago.

I live in the 49th.
This area has been trending blue.
Issa's retirement and Trump's inanity helped but this entire area is turning blue.
