Here are two Strong Women. One white. One Black.

They fought hard.

I will never know either one without the title before their name.

Madam President Hillary Clinton and Governor Stacey Abrams. They both had their elections stolen from them. Fact.

2. Thank you.

Makes me want to cry. I wanted to believe we were better than this. The GOP is not the party of women and will do anything to take us down. Fact is they are terrified of us.

4. One additional thing that sends me over the edge is that this is Jimmy Carter's home state

President Carter and The Carter Center have gone all over the world to ensure fair elections - and yet this happens in this country and in the state where he's lived his entire life and served as governor. This must be a profound disappointment for him after all his hard work.

7. Never thought of that.

You are so right and this is so wrong.

8. Somewhat a paradox there, Rhiannon in that....

President Carter has worked so hard for fair and free elections around the globe, and yet his home state is corrupt as hell.

That's not to say that he has not done what he can in Georgia. It's just that Georgia Repugs have used every dirty underhanded trick in the book and kept much of it concealed.

I just hope our courts and a new national voting rights bill will eliminate this evil....

14. I've thought about that quite a lot during these reports of voter suppression in this country

President Carter dedicated so much of his life to ensuring fair elections throughout the world - but now we're hearing about "dirty tricks," gerrymandering and voter suppression right here in this country. And the obvious fact that it's happened so blatantly right in his home state has to particularly rankle. I have his autobiography and there was egregious fraud - stolen votes - in his first run for public office. That's the kind of thing that regularly happened back then, but he took them on - and won. Every time I've heard about what's been going on, I've thought that we could really use the resources of The Carter Center right here at home.

15. Thanks for the reminder about The Carter Center.

I doubt if it gets the support they deserve considering the wonderful work they do. I'm way overdue for a contribution, having gone through the election and some tight times. Will put that on my do list!

No better humans on this earth than Jimmy and Rosalynn in my book!...........

16. Awww! Thanks!

And they're still giving back - unbelievably still building houses in their 90s - both in this country and in other parts of the world for Habitat for Humanity. He learned about giving back at a young age from Miss Lillian - an R.N. who was often the only medical care available in the area - and never stopped. I've also heard that he drives the Secret Service nuts because he'll stop and have a conversation with anyone who approaches him, LOL.

And I also recommend his autobiography highly: "A Full Life: Reflections at 90." I have it on disc, read by the author. He really has led a fascinating life, growing up during the depression in rural Georgia, to his naval career - I don't think he even got to his run for president until disc #5. I listen to it in my car whenever I have to drive any distance. I was always a supporter from the very beginning - the first candidate I really paid attention to and felt an affinity for - my brother picked on me for it. And having learned even more about him, my admiration has grown...

18. Kudos to you for buying his books!

That's been a major source of income for his family! And you probably know that he learned woodworking and building from an early age, helped to build the house they still live in and made much of the furniture they needed when they got married - and still use today!

12. What could have been . . . what should've been . . .what was, without the cheating theft of office.

There is no greater betrayal of America than the sabotage of our Democracy. There should be penalties equal to the crime.
