I’m probably not an orange haired genius with a bigly brain but I think I could do better. Let’s not forget that we will have about 7,000 troops on the border doing pretty much nothing ( other than deploying razor ribbon wire for the tv cameras). They will be there at least through Thanksgiving. So we have 7000 families whose loved ones will not be home, quite unnecessarily. They will probably be there through Christmas too....so happy holidays for them.
So if we did something like give each migrant $35,000 dollars, let them cross the border and apply for asylum, they could become an economic power house, and we would save $110 million at least. I know, I know, giving little brown people money for free...kinda like corporations and politicians, is simply unamerican. Oh wait, no it’s not, it’s what we do for the wealthy who of course really need the cash more than hungry homeless folk who are fleeing slaughter and famine in their home country due to American foreign policy.
But I guess that wouldn’t fit the genocidal master race politics we are seeing as Christian fervor.
