Founder of the @womensmarch calls for current leaders to step down

for allowing “anti-Semitism, anti- LBGTQIA sentiment and hateful, racist rhetoric to become a part of the platform by their refusal to separate themselves from groups that espouse these racist, hateful beliefs.“

This should have happened before the first march.

It was obvious from the get go -

Linda Sarsour is what I would put on my dart board if I had one -

I attended the first march but did not wear pink because of their behavior.

Grifters.

5 star hotels with family in tow. These women do NOT stand for me. Farrakhan? WTF? The man preaches hatred. There was another incident that pissed me off as well...won't get into it. I am sure you know the one I mean.

These women do not belong in a movement that supports not only women but equality for all. We are mothers we are teachers...we are beautiful creatures.

We have been CRYSTAL CLEAR in BOTH of our statements that we REJECT antisemitism and all forms of racism. We have been CLEAR that Minister Farrakhan has said hateful and hurtful things and that he does not align with our Unity Principles of the Women's March that were created by Women of Color.

It met Teresa Shook's vision despite the current leaders and some of the speakers. The speakers, BTW, were completely unnecessary. The vast majority of us never got near the stage and couldn't have cared less. It was about the marchers, the women, men, and children of all ages, religions, and skin tone.

I've deactivated my FB so can't see the original. I marched in Boston at the first Women's March with hesitation (was not happy with the leaders at that time for their erasure of Hillary) but will not associate with them again until they clean up their act - preferably new leaders.

FB posts last year when women's marches in different cities were disassociating themselves from Sarsour and Mallory . I did not know about the grifting but am not surprised. This is good and long overdue.

Anti-Semitism and homo/bi/transphobia should have no quarter in this movement, anymore than their should be racism, Islamophobia, anti-atheism, ableism, ageism, and so forth!
