UPDATE: The Cook County Medical Examiner has confirmed four people are dead from the Mercy Hospital shooting Monday afternoon, including CPD officer Samuel Jimenez. Chicago police will hold a news conference with updates.

5. From what they said on the local news it started with domestic violence the shooter

shot and killed his ex fiancee who is or was a doctor He then started shooting other people. The police officer was 28 years old and just got off his probationary period as a new police officer.

The hospital is 160 years old Chicago's first hospital.

Now they are saying 4 dead.

He shot her three times in the chest, then after she fell to the ground, shot her three more times. Horrific.
