Here is my view:
Asking a question like that will not really yield anything informative or useful in response. It will only annoy Trump and play into the narrative he and his people are trying to foment, i.e. that the press is out to get him.
Why not ask a question that is more substantive and specific? Maybe something that could generate a different kind of response or reaction?
Usually when reporters get him talking about something he ends up saying something foolish, even when teed up with a friendly softball type question.
My response was meant to suggest that this sort of approach could be more effective.
What are your thoughts?
